About the Listening Post 7 documentary archive, its subjects, approach and presentation.
Listening Post 7 is an independent documentary project covering historical mysteries, unexplained events, unsolved cases, strange disappearances, scientific anomalies and unusual broadcasts or transmissions.
Each episode is designed as a calm and accessible overview rather than a complete investigation. The intention is to introduce the known history of a case, distinguish established evidence from disputed claims, and present the principal theories fairly.
Our approach
Listening Post 7 avoids sensationalism and exaggerated conclusions.
Where evidence is uncertain, contradictory or incomplete, that uncertainty is made clear. Speculation is presented as speculation, and no theory is treated as proven without reliable supporting evidence.
The archive is intended to provide a useful starting point for viewers who may later wish to explore a subject in greater depth.
The transmissions
LP7 episodes are presented in a restrained documentary style.
The normal structure includes:
- an introduction to the central mystery
- seven narrative chapters
- an overview of the available evidence
- the main explanations and theories
- a balanced conclusion
- sources and suggested further reading where practical
The complete narration is not normally reproduced on the website. Each case page instead provides a case overview, chapter guide, timeline and selected references.
Chloe
The narration voice and presentation identity of Listening Post 7 is Chloe.
Chloe provides continuity across the archive and gives each transmission a calm, measured documentary tone.
The project uses artificial voice technology as part of its production process. Research, writing, editing, presentation decisions and final publication remain part of the wider LP7 editorial workflow.
Publication schedule
New transmissions are normally released on Tuesdays and Fridays at 8:00 pm UK time.
Occasional compilations, special transmissions or schedule changes may also appear.

The archive
Listening Post 7 is built as a growing case-file archive.
Each published episode receives a permanent case code and its own page containing supporting information. Over time, related cases, themes and historical connections will be linked across the archive.
The website supports the Listening Post 7 YouTube channel. It is not intended to replace the video transmissions themselves.
